ACCORDING to Macmillan English dictionary, hermaphrodite is a person, animal, or plant that has both male and female sex organs.

Speaking during this year’s Manzini Region Day of the African Child commemoration that was held at Kukhanyeni Inkhundla, NCCU’s Ncane Dlamini said parents were hiding their children who have two private parts.

“In some cases, the parents make funny comments about the children’s situation. And at times it is the colleagues who laugh at them.

“This leads to the hermaphrodites contemplating suicide,” Dlamini said.
